Reference services
Staff members are available during regular hours to answer reference questions, assist with case searches and note-ups, and aid library patrons in locating and using library resources. Services can be accessed in person, or via e-mail, phone or fax.
Book borrowing
The LCLA library has a strict non-circulation policy. All library materials must be used in the library/lounge space.
Training
Library staff are able to provide instruction in the use of both print and electronic resources. We encourage our users to ask library staff if they are in need of direction in the use of a resource.
Computer and wireless access
Wireless access is available in the library and lounge areas. Library staff will key in the required password on request. Computers are available for use by library patrons, with internet access and word processing software.
Photocopy and fax services
A photocopier is available in the library for use by counsel, at a cost of $0.25 per page black and white or $0.50 for colour copies. Printing is also available at the same cost. Faxes may be sent and received at the library, with the fee based on the number of pages and the destination.
Inter-library and document delivery
Library staff will canvass other libraries for materials and information when not available in-house.
Hours
9 to 5 Monday through Friday. Open to the public on Friday afternoons.
